From June 2014
The Foundation Civic Museums of Venice and Dom Pérignon, the most famous Champagne brand, signed an agreement of collaboration that leads into the lagoon The Power of Creation, a project of renovation of two exhibition rooms of Ca’ Pesaro – International Gallery of Modern Art.
After the restyling of the exhibition layout curated by MUVE director Gabriella Belli, with the exhibition project by Daniela Ferretti, now two rooms located at second floor of Ca ‘Pesaro – currently not available to public access – will find a new “light”, hosting a series of exhibitions of young artists and works from the museum’s stores.
The relationship between the Foundation Civic Museums of Venice and Dom Pérignon symbolizes the meeting of two worlds characterized by an absolute trust in the power of creation.
In this sense, the restoration project is a tangible creative connection between past and contemporary art, which is also a prestigious collaboration between public and private company that will benefit the city of Venice.
At the end of restoration works, the reopening will be celebrated with an art and photo exhibition planned on October 2014.
