During the next Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays it will be possible to discover the Musei Civici of Venice with special openings and many art exhibitions.
On 25 December 2018 and 1 January 2019, six of the eleven MUVE museums will be open to the public.
Doge’s Palace, Museo Correr and Palazzo Fortuny will keep their doors open with special opening hours from 11 am to 7 pm (including TINTORETTO 1519-1594, PRINTING R-EVOLUTION AND SOCIETY, 1450-1500. Fifty Years that changed Europe and FUTURUINS exhibitions).
Ca’ Pesaro – International Gallery of Modern Art (including EPOCA FIORUCCI and ANGELO MORBELLI. The poem of old age exhibitions), the Glass Museum in Murano hosting the exhibition Mario Bellini at Murano and Ca’ Rezzonico with the exhibiton LA VITA COME OPERA D’ARTE. Anton Maria Zanetti and his collections will be open to the public from 11 am to 5 pm.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 21 December 2018 to 6 January 2019 the Centro Culturale Candiani of Mestre with the exhibition VENICE AND SAINT PETERSBURG. Artists, Princes and Merchants will be open from 10 am to 9 pm, while on 25 December 2018 and 1 January 2019 from 4 pm to 9 pm.
