The Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia inaugurates at the Centro Culturale Candiani in Mestre the programme “Cortocircuito. Dialogue between the centuries“, consisting in a serie of suggestive events devoted to modern and contemporary art presenting exhibitions that will come from the rich heritage of the City of Venice.

A project strongly advocated by the Mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro, who intends to propose to citizenship a high-value cultural program that put into play the extraordinary patrimony held in the Civic Museums belonging to the entire Venetian territory.

Through the important exhibition initiatives that will take place over the next few months, once again the close link between the metropolitan area and the city be emphasized. The cycle of exhibitions, specially designed for the Centro Culturale Candiani by Gabriella Belli, Director of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, officially opens the public on December 14, 2016 with a great retrospective on the myth of Judith.
