MUSEI IN FESTA 2026

Below are the upcoming Musei in Festa days, with free admission to the Musei Civici of Venice for all residents of the 44 municipalities of the Metropolitan City of Venice and Mogliano Veneto.
Upcoming dates: Sunday, January 11; Sunday, February 8; Sunday, March 15; Thursday, April 16; Thursday, May 14; and Thursday, June 11, 2026.

EXCLUSIVE VISITS AFTER CLOSING TIME

It is possible to plan an exclusive visit to the museums of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia after the closing time.
The Foundation opens the doors of the emblematic venues in the city, notable architectures overlooking on St. Mark’s Square or on the Grand Canal, to offer the exquisiteness of their rooms and the attractiveness of their collections, when the lights goes down and the outlines are softened by the evening shadow.

CONDITIONS AND COSTS

  • Doge’s Palace:
    purchase of at least 20 tickets, of 80,00 euros (guide not included)
  • Temporary exhibitions:
    purchase of at least 15 tickets of 30,00 euros (guide not included)
  • Other Musei Civici of Venice:
    purchase of at least 20 tickets*, of 40,00 euros (guide not included)
    * For safety reason, 10 people maximum are allowed to visit the Clock Tower in the same time

RESERVATIONS

it is possible to visit the museums after the closing time, sending a request at least 5 working days before the desired date, to verify the availability for an extraordinary opening of the museum.

EXCLUSIVE VISITS

It is possible to plan an exclusive visit to the museums of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia.
It is possible to visit the following museums, while closed to the public and exclusively accompanied by licensed tour guides.

Doge’s Palace, Correr Museum, Ca’ Pesaro – International Gallery of Modern ArtCa’ Rezzonico – Museum of 18th century Venice, Glass Museum in Murano, Lace Museum in Burano, House of Carlo Goldoni, Palazzo Mocenigo, Fortuny Museum and the Natural History Museum of Venice Giancarlo Ligabue.

Hours

  • At minutes _: 00, _: 10, _: 20, _: 30 and _: 40 of the hour prior to the opening hour;
  • At minutes _: 10, _: 20, _: 30 of the hour following the closing of the museum (in the latter case the tour can last a maximum of 60 minutes).
  • At the Doge’s Palace exclusive visits in the evening are possible at 18:30 and 18:40 – with exit from the Palace by 20:00.

Terms and conditions

  • It is mandatory to purchase the entire entry shift (minimum 10 tickets)
  • Reservations at least 3 days in advance of the chosen date
  • The tour guides must be directly contacted by those who purchase the shift through the official associations
  • Tickets purchased are non-refundable.
