Musei Civici of Venice opening hours



The Musei Civici of Venice are open
with the following opening hours:


On Monday 21 November, 26 December 2022 and 2 January 2023 Ca’ Pesaro – International Gallery of Modern Art, Palazzo Mocenigo Museum, Natural History Museum of Venice Giancarlo Ligabue, Lace Museum in Burano and the exhibition Kandinsky and the avant-gardes. Point and line to plane at Centro Culturale Candiani in Mestre will be open to the public.
During Christmas holidays, on Sunday 25 December 2022 and 1 January 2023 all the Musei Civici of Venice will be open to the public from 10.00.

On Friday 9 December, Saturday 10 December, Friday 23 December 2022 and Friday 6 January 2023 Doge’s Palace and Correr Museum will be exceptionally open until 21.00. On Friday 13 and Saturday 14 January 2023 Fortuny Museum and Ca’ Pesaro – International Gallery of Modern Art will extend the opening hours until 21.00.


The ST. MARK’S SQUARE MUSEUMS TICKET is valid for the Doge’s Palace and the combined itinerary of Correr Museum’s first floor, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana.

It is possible to visit the Secret Itineraries Tour in Doge’s Palace.

From 1 May 2022 entry to the Musei Civici of Venice will no longer require the use of face masks. However, following the Ordinance of the Minister of Health dated 28 April 2022, visitors are encouraged to continue to wear their masks during the visit, especially in crowded areas.
