Live On Art

Involving local citizens through a high-quality service and at the same time offering students the possibility to put into practice the process of planning and providing an important cultural project are the goals of the innovative programme of meetings organised by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia in collaboration with the Ca’ Foscari University.

Museo Correr, Ca’ Rezzonico, Palazzo Mocenigo and Ca’ Pesaro will be opening their doors to the city to present their treasures and show the local population the historic and cultural heritage they contain. One work will be selected in each of these museums every month and presented in rotation to the public in fixed weekly events.

These events will be planned with especial care and will include the results of the research undertaken by the students under the guidance of the museums’ experts and curators of the most important collections who will participate directly in the learning activities.

These events will be held only in Italian.

The meetings will take place from April to June and from October to December, starting at 3 pm, on Tuesday at Palazzo Mocenigo, on Wednesday at Museo Correr, Ca’ Pesaro on Thursday and on Friday at Ca’ Rezzonico.

The first week, from 15th to 18th April 2014, the meetings will be devoted to the presentation of the museums involved, then from April 22nd every week will be dedicated to onework for each museum.
