The extensive storerooms of Palazzo Mocenigo housing the rich collections of clothes, garments, accessories and fabrics offer the public an unusual visit to places that are usually only open for employees. This is an opportunity that is not to be missed when visiting the museum and offers an itinerary through fashion in the eighteenth century with a specialised guide.

Visits in Italian and English are possible the last Friday of every month, at 11.00 and 14.00. Reservation is necessary (it will be held with a minimum of 8 and maximum 12 participants).

LIVE ON ART

Involving local citizens through a high-quality service and at the same time offering students the possibility to put into practice the process of planning and providing an important cultural project are the goals of the innovative programme of meetings organised by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia in collaboration with the Ca’ Foscari University.

Museo Correr, Ca’ Rezzonico, Palazzo Mocenigo and Ca’ Pesaro will be opening their doors to the city to present their treasures and show the local population the historic and cultural heritage they contain. One work will be selected in each of these museums every month and presented in rotation to the public in fixed weekly events.

These events will be planned with special care and will include the results of the research undertaken by the students under the guidance of the museums’ experts and curators of the most important collections who will participate directly in the learning activities.
