RENAISSANCE. Carpaccio Bill Viola

From January 24 to May 25, 2014
Espace Louis Vuitton, Venice

Created by art historian Adrien Goetz and by curator Hervé Mikaeloff, Renaissance is the second exhibition of Espace Louis Vuitton Venezia. After Where should Othello go? By Pompeo Molmenti and Tony Oursler , this unusual face-off between Vittore Carpaccio (ca. 1465/1470-1525/1526), master of Venetian art, and Bill Viola, a brilliant filmmaker (born in 1951), is a new opportunity to promote the relationship between contemporary art and the artistic heritage of Venice.
